Marsa Alam is located near the city of Hurghada, about 274 km south of Hurghada, on the western coast of the Red Sea, southeast of Egypt. Marsa Alam is part of the Red Sea Governorate, as it consists of three main villages. The first village is called Berenice, which is the main home of medical tourism in the city. The second village is Abu Al-Hassan Al-Shazly Village, which is famous for containing a group of religious landmarks. The third and final village is Abu Ghosoun Village. This village is famous for containing a site for diving the sunken ship, where we find gatherings of various types of rare fish.
